Beacon Partners is currently seeking experienced Senior Healthcare Consultants with subject matter expertise in Revenue Cycle and/or ICD-10 for full time, fixed term and contract positions throughout the US. Relocation is not necessary; however, extensive travel is required.

These positions will have the opportunity to work directly with client Executives on high-level strategic projects, help with sales efforts and put one’s subject matter expertise to use. Executive Consultants are seen as thought leaders and are encouraged to write white papers, contribute to articles and present at industry conferences and tradeshows.

Executive Consultants could have the opportunity to work on projects related to any and all of the below topics:
• Strategic and tactical operational planning
• Revenue cycle assessment and performance optimization
• ICD-10 planning and implementation
• Organizational structure and staffing assessment
• Metrics analysis and development
• Enterprise-wide, large-scale project oversight
• Interim management for C-level or Senior Director roles

Job Requirements:


A successful candidate will possess the following:
• 15+ years’ experience consulting in the healthcare industry or have executive level experience working in an academic medical center, hospital or health system.
• Deep understanding of regulatory and legislation impact (ARRA/Meaningful Use, ICD-10, ACOs, etc.) on healthcare operations and ability to lead assessments.

• Deep subject matter expertise in one of the following areas: ICD-10 strategy, and/or revenue cycle optimization.
• Ability to apply practical business experience with the features and functionality of information systems to assist clients with implementations and redesign projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interface and present to all levels of the clients’ staff, including the C-suite.
• Creative problem solving skills, as well as excellent writing, presentation and listening skills.
• Analytical and innovative thinking with the ability to meet project deadlines and possess a high level of energy with professional acumen.
• Excellent executive and technical writing skills are a requirement.
• Leadership status in healthcare associations and organizations is preferred.
• Prior experience and relationships with major HIT vendors is helpful.

No relocation necessary, however, extensive travel is required. Location near a major airport is a plus.
